Season 2 of 3on3 Ace and Rookie Europe

The new 3on3 Ace Europe season starts today, at 18:00 CET! The seeding of this cup will be random, as a token of fairness towards all the teams that want to have a new and good start of season! Make sure you sign up now for 3on3 Ace Europe Cup #13! 

We also want to underline that the timelimit of the Encounter mode has decreased from 10 minutes to 7 minutes. This change was required in order to be consistent with the new draw rule system. 

   Draw rule - Reworked

It has been some time since the draw rule has been changed. It worked ok for us, but has put players in the situation of a double disqualification in almost every cup. This is why we came up with a new version of the draw rule so that the winner is decided on the battlefield and not by the admin. 

Introducing Tie Breaker...
From now on, when you are tied after playing all rounds of a match, you go into a tie breaker. A tie breaker is an Assault/Defense map set by the system and available in the match page. 

If you are wondering how the side is being picked in the Tie Breaker, you have the answer here: the team that has the highest damage dealt in all the rounds of the match, will have the right to pick sides and tanks. If the damage is equal, then the team with the better seeding will pick sides.

The timelimit of the Tie Breaker map is 7 minutes. 

   Rules changelog

We have also changed a couple of rules in order to make sure that the eSports environment is fair for all players and teams.

• Changelog:
• Rule 2.1 - Changed the timelimit of the Encounter maps from 10 minutes to 7 minutes to be consistent with the Tie Breaker
• Rule 2.5 - Removed the old list of authorized accounts to broadcast since the streamers for the cup are available to be seen on the main cup page 
• Rule 4.4 - Improved and reworked the entire draw rule 
• Rule 4.8.2 - Improved the restart rule - added cases where the restart is not valid 
• Added Rule 4.10 - the mappool of the Tie Breaker
